Crystal Lake Police Blotter: Domestic Battery, Underage Drinking, DUIs

Note: The following information was obtained from the Crystal Lake Police arrest reports. An arrest does not constitute a conviction. An individual can only be found guilty in a court of law.

False Report

Kathleen M. Cox, 49, 373 Terra Cotta Ave. 1, Crystal Lake, was arrested Nov. 17, and charged with one count of disorderly conduct/ false report to 911. Cox was released and awaiting a bond and court date.

DUI

Douglas J. Sharley, 29, 20 Green Oaks Rd. 105, Crystal Lake, was arrested Nov. 22, and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. Sharley posted $100 and his drivers license for bond, and was released. He is scheduled to appear in court Jan. 8.

Mark N. Madigan, 45, 2451 W. Foster, Chicago, was arrested Nov. 22, and charged with one count of driving under the influence of alcohol. Madigan posted $100 and drivers license and was released. He is scheduled to appear in court Dec. 18.

Underage Drinking

John T. Gorham, 18, 356 First Ct.- B, Crystal Lake, was arrested Nov. 18, and charged with one count of illegal possession/ consumption of alcohol by a minor. Gorham was transported to the McHenry County Jail. His bond was set at $1,500 and he is scheduled to appear in court Dec. 18.

Possession of Marijuana

Maxine M. Quinney, 18, 32 Burr Oak Dr., Crystal Lake, was arrested Nov. 21, and charged with one count possession of between 2.5 to 10 grams cannabis. Bond was set at 10 percent of $1,500. Quinney posted bond and was released. She is scheduled to appear in court Dec. 18.

Outstanding Warrant

Scott A. Templeman, 633 Virginia Rd. 114, Crystal Lake, was arrested Nov. 15, on an outstanding McHenry County warrant for harassment by telephone. Templeman posted 10 percent of a $1,500 bond and was released. He was scheduled to appear in court Dec. 4.

Jamaar D. Towers, 29, 1075 Higgins Quarter Dr., Hoffman Estates, was arrested Nov. 19, on an outstanding McHenry County warrant for disorderly conduct/ filing a false report of offense. Towers was transferred to the McHenry County Jail in Woodstock where his bond was set at $15,000. He is scheduled to appear in court Dec. 10.

Carlos Morales, 20, 122 W. Woodstock St. 3C, Crystal Lake, was arrested Nov. 15, on a McHenry County Sheriff's Office warrant for failure to appear in court. Morales posted 10 percent of a $1,000 bond and was released. He is scheduled to appear in court Dec. 18.

Domestic Battery

Darius Amirsoltani, 29, 360 Grove St., Crystal Lake, was arrested Nov. 19, and charged with one count domestic battery/ causing bodily harm. Amirsoltani was transported to the McHenry County Jail, where he was awaiting bond to be set. He is scheduled to appear in court Dec. 11.

Robert E. Hull, 39, 14411 Kishwaukee Valley Rd., Woodstock, was arrested Nov. 20, and charged with one count of domestic battery/ physical contact. Hull was transported to the McHenry County Sheriff's Office, where he was awaiting bond and a court date.

Domestic Battery/ Theft

Robert Z. Simich, 50, 927 Aberdeen Dr., Crystal Lake, was arrested Nov. 19, and charged with one count of domestic battery/ causing bodily harm and one count of theft of a motor vehicle. Simich was transported to the McHenry County Sheriff's Office, where he was awaiting bond and a court date.
