Crystal Lake Police Blotter: Domestic Battery, Arrest Warrants, DUI

Note: The following information was obtained from Crystal Lake Police reports. An arrest does not constitute a conviction. An individual can only be found guilty in a court of law.

Domestic Battery

Matthew O. Todisco, 32, 110 S. Virginia St. 2, Crystal Lake, was arrested Nov. 3, and charged with one count of domestic battery/ causing bodily harm and one count of domestic battery/ physical contact. Todisco was transported to the McHenry County Sheriff's Office, where he was awaiting bond and a court date.

Lisa A. Derer, 42, 219 Uteg St. F, Crystal Lake, was arrested Oct. 29, and charged with one count of battery/ causing bodily harm. Derer posted 10 percent of a $1,500 bond and was released. She is scheduled to appear in court Dec. 11.

Oustanding Arrest Warrant

Brett M. Jurgens, 25, 331 Van Buren St., Crystal Lake, was arrested Oct. 30, on a McHenry County Sheriff's warrant for theft of a vehicle. Jurgens was transported to the sheriff's office. Bond was set at 10 percent of $50,000. He was awaiting a court date.

Mary E. Crawford, 53, 967 Nottingham Ln., Crystal Lake, was arrested Nov. 9, on an outstanding warrant from the McHenry County Sheriff's Office. Crawford was transported to the sheriff's office, where she posted 10 percent of a $10,000 bond and was released. She was scheduled to appear in court Nov. 20.

Aaron D. Sutherland, 20, 244 Second St., Crystal Lake, was arrested Oct. 26, on two outstanding warrants- one from the McHenry County Sheriff's Office and one from Willow Springs Police Department for probation violation and larceny. Sutherland was transported to the sheriff's office jail in Woodstock. Bond was set at 10 percent of $10,000 for one charge and $10,000 for the second charge.

Brandon M. Blum, 28, 1665 Deerhaven Dr., Crystal Lake, was arrested Nov. 4, on an outstanding warrant from the McHenry County Sheriff's Office for theft. Blum was transported to the McHenry County Sheriff's Office Jail in Woodstock, where he was awaiting bond and a court date.

DUI

Ramon Ramos-Macias, 25, 627 Virginia Rd. 111, Crystal Lake, was arrested Nov. 4, and charged with aggravated driving under the influence of alcohol/ having no valid drivers license, one count driving under the influence of alcohol, and one count driving with a revoked/ suspended drivers license. Macias was transported to the McHenry County Sheriff's Office. He is scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 18.

Failure to Report Accident

Martin Garcia-Rivera, 26, 5014 State St., Crystal Lake, was arrested Nov. 6, and charged with one count driving/ never having been issued a license, one count failure to report a vehicle accident and one count of improper lane use. Rivera posted $150 bond and was released. He is scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 4.
