Crystal Lake Police Blotter: Child Endangerment, Wire Harassment

The following incidents were listed among the official reports of the Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that determination.

Retail Theft

Gloria Mendoza, 18, 316 Marengo Rd., Harvard, was charged with retail theft on Feb. 19 and released on a $150 bond with a court date of March 22.

Kakshaben D. Patel, 63, 5211 Harry Ct., Crystal Lake, was charged with retail theft on Feb. 19. He was released on a $150 bond with a court date of March 15.

Michael A. Horstmann, 18, 114 Hillcrest Dr., Algonquin, was charged with retail theft on Feb. 24 and released on a $150 bond with an April 5 court date.

Holly J. Joyner, 23, 213 Opatrny Dr.#1, Fox River Grove, was charged with retail theft on Feb. 25. She was released on a $150 bond with an April 12 court date.

Criminal Trespass

Benjamin D. Maddox, 24, 1146 Prescott Ln., Crystal Lake, was charged with criminal trespass to property and damage to property on Feb. 27. He was taken into custody by the McHenry County Sheriffs Office with an April 19 court date.

Corey L. Stewart, 31, 600 Villa, Elgin was charged with criminal trespass to residence and criminal trespass to vehicle on March 1. He was taken into custody by the McHenry County Sheriff with an April 12 court date.

Battery

Gregory R. Frehe, 24, 625 S. State St., #B, Salt Lake City, UT, was charged with battery and criminal trespass to land on Feb. 20. He was released on a $150 bond with an April 5 court date.

Harrasment by Wire

Patricia A. Romanelli, 56, was arrest on a warrant from McHenry County for harassment by wire, Feb. 22. She was released on a $150 bond with a March 8 court date.

DUI

Carli J. Saladino, 19, 822 Alexandra Blvd., Crystal Lake, was charged with driving under the influence, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, unsafe tires and no driver’s license on person. He was taken into custody by the McHenry County Sheriff’s Office with a March 22 court date.

Driving Offenses

Francisca Dimas, 38, 720 Leah Ln. #1D, Woodstock, was charged with driving without a valid license, failure to reduce speed to avoid collision and operating an uninsured vehicle. She was released on a notice to appear in court on April 5.

Victor A. Flores-Ortiz, 29, 508 Ashland Ave., Elgin was charged with driving without a valid license and failure to wear a seatbelt on Feb. 19. He was released on a $150 bond with an April 12 court date.

Edward J. Majewski, 45, 40 Green Oaks Dr., Crystal Lake, was charged with driving without a valid license on Feb. 24. He was released on a $150 bond with an April 12 court date.

Tyrus P. Kavanaugh, 35, 1445 Commons Dr.$2F, Woodstock was charged with driving while license suspended and speeding. He was released on a $150 bond with a March 22 court date.

Wanted on Warrant

Corina A. Derueda, 32, 2063 Willow Brook Dr. #2, was arrested for being wanted on a warrant from the McHenry County Sheriff’s Office for disorderly conduct. She was released on a $100 bond with a court date of March 2

Child Endangerment

Randy Dotson Jr., 33, 764 Kingston Ln., Crystal Lake, was charged with four counts of endangering the life/health of a child on Feb. 20. He was taken into custody by the McHenry County Sheriff with a court date to be set.

Assault

Nathen A. Lemons, 22, 192 Elmhurst St.,#206, Crystal Lake, was charged with assault and disorderly conduct on Feb. 21. He was released on a $120 bond with a March 15 court date.
