Crystal Lake Police Blotter: Battery, Underage Drinking, Possession of Cannabis

Possession of Cannabis/ Drug Paraphernalia

Michael Parr, 21, 5 Cambridge Ln., Cary, was arrested on June 23, and charged with one count of possession of cannabis, between 2.5-20 grams, and one count possession of drug paraphernalia. Parr posted 10 percent of a $1,500 bond, and was released. Parr is scheduled to appear in court at 8:30 a.m. July 19.

Matthew D. Doerscher, 21, 217 Cottonwood Trail, Cary, was arrested June 23, and charged with one count of possession of cannabis, between 2.5-10 grams, and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia. Doerscher posted 10 percent of $1,500 bond. He is scheduled to appear in court at 8:30 a.m. July 19. 

DUI

Gregory M. Pittner, 55, 1181 Amberwood Dr., Crystal Lake, was arrested June 24, and charged with one count of driving under the influence of alcohol, one count of driving under the influence of alcohol BAC .08, and one count failure to notify authorities of an unattended vehicle. Pittner posted 10 percent of a $1,000 bond and was released. He is scheduled to appear in court at 8:30 a.m. Aug. 14.

Battery

Alexander J. Borowitz, 20, 1230 Amberwood Dr., Crystal Lake, was arrested June 24, and charged with one count of aggravated domestic battery, one count of domestic battery causing bodily harm, one count resisting/ obstructing a peace officer, one count of criminal damage to property causing damage of less than $300, and one count of fleeing/ attempting to elude police. Borowitz was transferred to McHenry County Jail where he was awaiting bond amount and a court date.

Underage Drinking

Austin S. Tropea, 19, 6810 Columbine Ave., Crystal Lake, was arrested July 2, and charged with one count of illegal possession/ consumption of alcohol by a minor. Tropea is scheduled to appear in court at 8:30 a.m. Aug. 7.

Conner S. McClain, 19, 155 Edgewater Dr., Crystal Lake, was arrested July 2, and charged with one count of illegal possession/ consumption of alcohol by a minor. McClain is scheduled to appear in court at 8:30 a.m. Aug. 7.
