CL Police Blotter: Theft of Coffee, Theft of Clothing, Theft of Video Game Equipment

Crystal Lake Police release reports for Aug. 17 to Aug. 23, 2012.

Theft

Jonathan A. Pease, 30, 400 W. Virginia St., Crystal Lake, was arrested Aug. 18, and charged with one count of retail theft, one theft of disorderly conduct, and one count of possession of less than 2.5 grams marijuana.

Police said Pease left , 70 E Woodstock St, in downtown Crystal Lake without paying for a cup of coffee. Pease was transported to McHenry County Jail. Bond was set at $1,500. Pease was scheduled to appear in court Sept. 4.

Jacob A. Bland, 23, 636 Lochwood Dr., Crystal Lake, was arrested Aug. 23, and charged with one count of retail theft and one count of theft. Police said Bland stole several items from t, 6000 Route 14, Crystal Lake, valued at about $1,000 including video game systems, video games, video game system accessories, and other various electronic equipment. Bland is scheduled to appear in court at 8:30 a.m. Oct. 2.

Wilson D. Wallace, 59, 851 Crabtree Ln., Cary, was arrested Aug. 18, and charged with one count of retail theft and one count of theft with a theft-detective shield device. Police said Wallace stole less than $100 worth of clothing from , 105 Route 14, Crystal Lake. Wallace posted 10 percent of $1,500 bond and was released. He was scheduled to appear in court Sept. 11.

Outstanding Arrest Warrant

Nicholas D. Offenwanger, 28, 1209 W. South Ave., Fox Lake, was arrested Aug. 21, on an in-state warrant for burglary- possession of someone's credit card. Offenwanger was transported to the McHenry County Sheriff's Office. Bond was set at $50,000. Offenwanger was scheduled to appear in court Sept. 4. 

 

Domestic Battery

Jodi L. Lorenz, 45, 448 Diamondo St., Crystal Lake, was arrested Aug. 23, and charged with domestic battery. Lorenz was transported to the McHenry County Sheriff's Office, where she was awaiting bond and a court date.

 

Violating Orders of Protection

Kevin D. O'Brien, 36, 123 Crestwood 7, Schaumburg, was arrested Aug. 17, on a McHenry County Sheriff's Office warrant for violating an order of protection. O'Brien was transported to the McHenry County Jail in Woodstock, where he was awaiting a court date and bond.
