Crystal Lake Police Blotter: Peeping Tom, Burglary, Juvenile Arrests

Juvenile Arrests

A 17-year-old juvenile was arrested June 26 and charged with one count of consumption of alcohol by a person under 21 years old. The juvenile was released to a parent and scheduled to appear in court at 8:30 a.m. Aug. 2.

A 17-year-old juvenile was arrested July 1, and charged with one count of possession of between 2.5 to 10 grams marijuana, one count obstructing identification, and one count of not having a drivers license/ never issued a license. The juvenile was turned over to a parent and was scheduled to appear in court at 8:30 a.m. July 17.

Peeping

Shaun A. Korpela, 34, of 105 Surrey Ln., Crystal Lake, was arrested July 3, and charged with one count of window peeping. Korpela’s bond was set at $1,500 bond. Korpela was transported to the McHenry County Sheriff’s Department and was scheduled to appear in court at 8:30 a.m. July 24.

Multiple Charges

Mario A. Duran-Perez, 24, 378 Pierson St. apt. 8, Crystal Lake, was arrested July 2, and charged with one count driving on a revoked license, one count of obstructing identification, and one count of an in-state bond forfeiture warrant. Perez posted bond and was released. He is scheduled to appear in court at 8:30 a.m. Aug. 14.

Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Steven Herrera, 20, 115 Grace Ln., Fox River Grove, was arrested July 3, and charged with one count of possession of drug paraphernalia, one count of driving without a license, and one count of having a defective windshield. Herrera posted bond and was released. He is scheduled to appear in court at 8:30 a.m. Aug. 21.

Burglary

Trevor A. Pilz, 18, 1740 Copperfield Ln., Crystal Lake, was arrested July 2, and charged with one count of burglary and one count of theft. No additional information was available.

Leaving Scene of Accident

Richard R. Thinnes, 78, 811 Oak Ct., Crystal Lake, was arrested July 3, and charged with one count of leaving the scene of an accident/ vehicle damage. Thinnes posted $150 bond, and was released. He is scheduled to appear in court at 8:30 a.m. Aug. 21.

Outstanding Warrant

Sue Magdenovska, 52, 9525 Georgetown Ln., Lakewood, was arrested July 6, and charged with one count of driving on a suspended drivers license, one count of having expired registration, and one count of operating an uninsured motor vehicle. Magdenovska was also arrested on a outstanding DuPage County warrant for obstructing justice. Magdenovska posted bond and was released. She is scheduled to appear in court Aug. 21.
