The following incidents were listed among the official reports of the Crystal Lake Police Department. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that determination. 

BATTERY 

Nicholas Wayne Shoenfeld, 21, 624 W. Berkley Ave., Hoffman Estates, was arrested on a warrant out of McHenry County Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear for battery on June 5. He was released on $500 bond and a June 24 court date.

Michael J. Plodzein, 32, 1560 Shelton Lane, Crystal Lake, was charged with battery on June 26. He was released on a notice to appear and an Aug. 9 court date. 

BURGLARY

Michael James Mistretta, 18, 651 Virginia Road, #125, Crystal Lake, was charged with three counts of burglary to a vehicle and three counts of criminal trespass to a vehicle on June 23. He was turned over to McHenry County Sheriff’s Office with a court date to be set. 

Bradford J. Thomas, 45, 1236 Pleasant St., DeKalb, was arrested on a warrant out of DeKalb County for burglary on June 27. He was released on $1,000 bond and a DeKalb County court date July 8. 

DRIVING OFFENSES 

Daniel K. White, 26, 1528 Candlewood Dr., Crystal Lake, was charged with driving while license suspended and criminal trespass to a vehicle on May 30. He was turned over to McHenry County Sheriff’s Office with a July 26 court date. 

Bryan P. Sokoloski, 22, 47 Barberry Lane, Crystal Lake, was charged with driving without a valid driver’s license on June 21. He was released on $150 bond and a July 19 court date. 

Jesus Agaton, 30, 125 Mayfield Ave., Crystal Lake, was charged with driving without a valid driver’s license on June 22. He was released on $150 bond and a July 26 court date. 

Alfonso Romero, 24, 563 Darlington Lane, #16, Crystal Lake, was charged with driving without a valid driver’s license and speeding on June 24. He was released on $150 bond and an Aug. 2 court date. 

David Hernandez, 24, 431 Park St., #3W, Bensenville, was charged with driving while license suspended on June 25. He was released on $150 bond and a July 26 court date. 

A 17-year-old juvenile was charged with driving without a valid driver’s license on June 25 and released to a parent with a July 26 court date. 

Mark Allen Coyle, 25, 223 W. Riverside Dr., Lakemoor, was charged with driving while license revoked on June 25. He was released on $150 bond and a July 26 court date. 

Zachary Allen Steinberg, 23, 3603 Waukegan Road, McHenry, was charged with driving while license suspended, expired registration and a defective windshield on June 27. He was released on $150 bond and a July 12 court date. 

Joshua William Krajewski, 31, 391 W. Terra Cotta Ave., #1, Crystal Lake, was charged with driving without a valid driver’s license, driver’s license expired for more than one year and failure to wear a seatbelt on June 29. He was released on $150 bond and an Aug. 16 court date. 

Thomas J. McDermott, 36, 658 S. Benton Road, Palatine, was charged with driving while license suspended, operating an uninsured vehicle and failure to notify the Secretary of State of an address change and arrested on a warrant out of DeKalb County for failure to appear for driving while license suspended on June 30. He was released on $350 bond and an Aug. 9 court date. A DeKalb County court date is set for July 28. 

THEFT 

Stephen Mark Sprenger, 50, 1153 North Shore Dr., Crystal Lake, was arrested on a warrant out of McHenry County Sheriff’s Office for retail theft on June 16. He was released on $200 bond and a July 5 court date. 

Jan Audly Jenkins, 45, 313 N. Wooste St., #208, Capron, was charged with retail theft on June 8. He was released on $150 bond and a July 26 court date.    

OTHER OFFENSES 

Leah Teaunna Adams, 33, 1400 Hunters Ridge Dr., #34, Genoa City, Wis., was charged with two counts of endangering the life or health of a child on June 30. She was released on $150 bond and a July 26 court date. 

Tess L. Rutkowski, 19, 6315 Deerwood Dr., Crystal Lake, was charged with unlawful use of fraudulent identification on June 11. She was released on $150 bond and a July 12 court date.
