Crystal Lake Police Blotter

The following incidents were listed among the official reports of the Crystal Lake Police Department. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that determination. 

BATTERY 

John Spellman Vining, 49, 439 Berkshire Dr., #36, Crystal Lake, was charged with two counts of domestic battery on June 4. He was turned over to McHenry County Sheriff’s Office with a June 21 court date.

A 17-year old juvenile was charged with battery on May 4 and released to a parent. A court date to be set.

ASSAULT 

Jose Antonio Ramos, Jr., 37, 460 Buckingham Lane, #14, Crystal Lake, was charged with aggravated assault and disorderly conduct on May 23. He was released on $270 bond and a June 28 court date. 

CRIMINAL SEXUAL ABUSE 

A 13-year old juvenile was charged with battery and criminal sexual abuse on May 15 and released to a parent. Court date to be set. 

DRIVING OFFENSES 

Katherine M. Humprey, 20, 110 Virginia St., #2B, Crystal Lake, was charged with driving while license suspended on May 30. She was released on $150 bond and a July 12 court date. 

OTHER OFFENSES  

Bernardo A. Diaz, 26, 28 Clover Dr., Crystal Lake, was arrested on a warrant out of McHenry County Sheriff’s Office for use of a fraudulent ID card on May 27. He was turned over to McHenry County Sheriff’s Office with a court date to be set. 

A 17-year old juvenile was charged with leaving the scene of a property damage accident on May 27. The juvenile was released on a $150 bond and a July 12 court date. 

Steven Gregory Reinhardt, 42, 944 Sheffield Dr., Crystal Lake, was charged with violation of an order of protection on June 1. He was turned over to McHenry County Sheriff’s Office with a court date to be set. 

Jeremy R. Rollo, 31, 587 Darlington Lane, #3, Crystal Lake, was charged with obstructing a peace officer on June 4. He was released on $150 bond and a June 28 court date.
