Crystal Lake Police Blotter: Battery, Possession of Marijuana and Drug Paraphernalia

Note: The following information was obtained from Crystal Lake Police reports. An arrest is only an accusation and does not constitute a conviction. An individual can only be found guilty in a court of law.

Battery

Jennifer M. Ahman, 23, 1409 Elk Trail, Cary, was arrested Dec. 15, and charged with one count of battery, one count interfering with a report of domestic violence, and one count criminal trespass to property. Ahman was transported to the McHenry County Sheriff's Office, where she was awaiting bond and a court date.

Leaving Scene of Accident

Shara C. Allen, 33, 17 Oxford Dr. 14, Carpentersville, was arrested Dec. 18, and charged with leaving the scene of an accident involving vehicle damage. Allen was transported to the McHenry County Jail, where she was awaiting bond and a court date.

Possession of Cannabis

Arnie A. Blass, 18, 40 Francis Ave., Crystal Lake, was arrested Dec. 18, and charged with one count of possession of less than 2.5 grams marijuana, one count domestic battery/ causing bodily harm, and one count criminal damage under $300. Blass was transported to the McHenry County Sheriff's Office, where he was awaiting bond and a court date.

Frank J. Hall, 24, 1252 Walnut Glen, Crystal Lake, was arrested Dec. 3, and charged with one count possession of less than 2.5 grams marijuana, one count possession of drug paraphernalia, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and not having valid registration plates. Bond was set at $1,500. Hall was transported to the McHenry County Sheriff's Office. He is scheduled to appear in court Jan. 15.

Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Danny W. Depew, 40, 12509 Hensel Rd., Huntley, was arrested Dec. 19, and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and driving on a suspended license. Depew posted $150 bond and was released. He is scheduled to appear in court Jan. 15.

Mark R. Bianchi, 49, 6411 Hilly Way, Cary, was arrested Nov. 26, and charged with one count possession of drug paraphernalia. Bianchi posted 10 percent of $1,500 bond and was released. He was scheduled to appear in court Dec. 18.

Germain Andrade, 30, 7413 Birch St., Crystal Lake, was arrested Nov. 29, and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, driving without having been issued a drivers license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and driver's view obstructed. Total of bonds was $3,000. Andrade posted 10 percent and was released. He was scheduled to appear in court Dec. 18.

DUI

Lewis Leonard, 77, 3515 S. Country Club Rd., was arrested Dec. 21, and charged with one count driving under the influence of alcohol, one count DUI with blood-alcohol level of .08, speeding and improper lane use. Leonard posted $100 and a drivers license for bond and was released. He is scheduled to appear in court Jan. 15.
