The following incidents were listed among the official reports of the . Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that determination.

Battery

Matthew William Chavez, 28, of 20 Green Oaks #104 in Crystal Lake was charged Oct. 2 with driving under the influence,  blood alcohol level over .08, domestic battery, two counts of endangering the health/life of a child and interference with the report of domestic violence. He was turned over to McHenry County Sheriff’s Office with a court date to be set.

A 16-year-old juvenile was charged with battery, criminal damage to state supported property. A court date has not been set.

A 14-year-old juvenile was charged with domestic battery Sept. 17. The juvenile was released to a parent. A court date had not been set.

A 14-year-old juvenile was charged with domestic battery Sept. 18. The juvenile was released to a parent. A court date had not been set.

Bryan M. Stephan, 23, of 176 Crystal Eidge Dr. in Crystal Lake was charged with domestic battery and aggravated assault. He was turned over to McHenry County Sheriff’s Office and given an Oct. 25 court date.

Traffic

Erick Avila, 21, of 461 Buckingham Dr. #13 in Crystal Lake was charged with driving without a valid driver's license Sept. 14.  He was released on $150 bond.

A 17-year-old juvenile was charged Sept. 23 with not having a valid driver's license and failure to reduce speed to avoid a collision. The juvenile was released on a $150 bond with a court date to be set.

Mark A. Oglesby, 53, of 3309 2nd Ave. in McHenry was charged Sept. 24 with driving with a expired driver's license, improper lane usage and failure to reduce speed to avoid a collision. He was released on $150 bond.

Philip S. Bromley, 32, of 947 Golf Course Rd. #6 in Crystal Lake was charged Sept. 24 with driving while license suspended, having an expired registration and exceeding the posted speed in a construction zone. He was released on $150 bond.

Bertha Mejia, 31, of 305 Besinger Dr. in Carpentersville was charged with not having a valid driver's license and disregarding a traffic control device. She was released on $150 bond and given a Nov. 1 court date.

Jason Michael Fouracre, 36, of 660 Sebek St. in Oxford, MI was charged Oct. 1 with not having a valid driver's license, expired registration, disregarding a traffic control device and defective windshield. He was released on $150 bond.

Mark Lee Ohanian, 46, of 454 Country Ln. in Crystal Lake was charged Oct. 1 with driving while license revoked, unlawful possession of revoked driver's license and improper lane usage. He was released on $150 bond.

Theft

Heriberto Garcia-Lazaro, 25, of 322 E. Crystal Lake Ave. in Crystal Lake was charged with retail theft Sept. 30. Lazaro was released on $150.

James Emio Zavorski, 18, of 335 Van Buren St. in Crystal Lake was charged Sept. 27 with retail theft. He was turned over to McHenry County Sheriff’s Office.

Bryan Howard Horney, 50, of 1023 Horizon Ridge in Lake in the Hills was charged Sept. 29 with retail theft. He was turned over to McHenry County Sheriff’s Office.

Emily Ann Schlenker, 18, of 9100 IL. Rte. 176 in Crystal Lake was charged Oct. 2 with retail theft. She was released on $150 bond and guven a Nov. 8 court date.

A 17-year-old juvenile was charged with retail theft Oct. 2. The juvenile was released to a parent with a court date to be set.

Drugs

Kevin Michael Franke, 19, of 240 Wiltshire Ln. in Lakewood was charged with unlawful possession of cannabis, unlawful possession of cannabis with intent to deliver, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, operating uninsured vehicle, disregarding traffic control device. He was turned over to McHenry County Sheriff’s Office with a court date to be set.

DUI

Christopher Kendall Funk, 28, of 424 Eugene Court in Crystal Lake was charged Sept. 29 with driving under the influence with a blood alcohol level over .08. He was turned over to McHenry County Sheriff’s Office with a court date to be set.

Angela M. Young, 36, of 4302 Fox Creek Dr. in Crystal Lake was charged Oct. 1 with driving under the influence, tail light violation and failure to notify Secretary of State of address change. She was released on $100 bond and her driver's license.

Other

Thong Q. Nguyen, 36, of 1752 Goldsboro Ln. in Crystal Lake was charged Sept. 29 with interference with the report of domestic violence. Nguyen was released on $150 bond and given a Nov. 8 court date.

Jeane M. Batman, 45, of 932 Nottingham Ln. in Crystal Lake was charged Sept. 30 with criminal trespass to a vehicle. She was released on $150 bond and given a Nov. 1 court date.

Brad J. Burger, 47, of 354 S. Tryon St. in Woodstock was charged Sept. 30 with violation of an order of protection and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. He was turned over to McHenry County Sheriff’s Office with a court date to be set.
