Crystal Lake Police Blotter: Battery, DUI, Underage Drinking

Outstanding Warrant

Adam S. Ochoa, 23, 533 Lincoln St., Algonquin, was arrested July 9 on a McHenry County warrant for unlawful use of a credit card. Ochoa was transported to the McHenry County Sheriff Department. He posted 10 percent of a $15,000 bond, and is awaiting a new court date.

Luis R. Garcia, 18, 351 W. Terra Cotta Ave. Apt. 1, Crystal Lake, was arrested July 11 on an outstanding McHenry County Sheriff's Police warrant for failure to appear in court for a possession of cannabis charge. Garcia was transported to the McHenry County Sheriff's Department, where his bond was set at $5,000. He is awaiting a new court date.

Battery

William T. Leistritz, 38, 21 Esther St., Crystal Lake, was arrested July 9, and charged with one count of battery/ causing bodily harm. Leistritz was transported to the McHenry County Sherrif Department. Bond was set at $1,500. He is scheduled to appear in court at 8:30 a.m. Aug. 14.

Driving Citations

Christopher Cortes-Galvez, 33, 122 W. Woodstock St. 3-C, Crystal Lake, was arrested July 10, and charged with one count of driving without ever having been issued a drivers license. Galvez posted $150 bond and was released. He is scheduled to appear in court at 8:30 a.m. Aug. 23.

Felix Moreno-Villalba, 40, 25 Gates St., Crystal Lake, was arrested July 10 and charged with one count of driving without having a license and one count of not having valid registration. Villalba posted 10 percent of a $1,500 bail, and was released. He is scheduled to appear in court at 8:30 a.m. Aug. 28.

Nathan L. Dye, 19, 28686 W. Harvest Glen Circle, Cary, was arrested July 11, and charged with one count of driving on a suspended drivers license. Dye posted $150 bond and was released. He is scheduled to appear in court at 8:30 a.m. Aug. 14.

DUI

Eric W. Gwizdak, 39, 3830 Peartree Dr., Lake in the Hills, was arrested July 15, and charged with one count of driving under the influence of alcohol/ BAC .08, driving under the influence of alcohol, failure to give signal, and improper lane usage. Gwizdak posted $100 bond. He is scheduled to appear in court at 8:30 a.m. Aug. 21. 

Underage Drinking/ Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Kelly J. Allison, 19, 11115 Lincoln St., Huntley, was arrested July 16, and charged with one count of possession of drug paraphernalia, and consumption of alcohol by a minor. Allison posted 10 pecent of a $1,500 bond and was released. She is scheuled to appear in court at 8:30 a.m. Aug. 21.

Jason B. Sirt, 23, 32451 Bakers Dr., Lakemoor, was arrested July 15, and charged with one count of possession of drug paraphernalia. Sirt posted 10 percent of a $1,500 bond. He is scheduled to appear in court at 8:30 a.m. Aug. 21.
