CL Police Arrests for Theft, Battery, Underage Drinking, Hit and Run

Note: The following information was obtained from Crystal Lake Police arrest reports. An arrest is only an accusation and does not constitute guilt. An individual can only be found guilty in a court of law.

Underage Drinking

Tanner J. Vanhurk, 19, 7500 block of Manor Rd., Crystal Lake, was arrested Aug. 20, and charged with two counts illegal possession/ consumption of alcohol by a minor. 

Tony Perez, 20, of the 200 block of Uteg St., Crystal Lake, was arrested Aug. 20, and charged with two counts illegal possession/ consumption of alcohol by a minor. 

Battery

Scott K. Nepermann, 50, of the 900 block of Golf Course, Crystal Lake, was arrested Aug. 20, and charged with battery/ causing bodily harm. He was scheduled to appear in court Sept. 10. 

Domestic Battery

Kevin M. Glowicki, 34, of the 100 block of Peterson Prkwy., Crystal Lake, was arrested Sept. 6, and charged with domestic battery/ physical contact. 

Joseph A. Laudicina, 28, of the 1100 block of Fisher Dr., Addison, was arrested Sept. 2, and charged with aggravated domestic battery/ strangle. He was transported to the McHenry County Jail in Woodstock. 

Disorderly Conduct

Brian D. Bogacz, 28, of the 900 block of Aberdeen Dr., Crystal Lake, was arrested Sept. 7, and charged with disorderly conduct. He was scheduled to appear in court Oct. 22. 

Marijuana Possession

Maxroy F. Sedlacek, 23, of the 370 block of Tilche Ln., Crystal Lake, was arrested Sept. 9, and charged with possession of between 2.5 to 10 grams cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was scheduled to appear in court Oct. 15. 

Theft

Christopher S. Caceres, 35, of the 28000 block of Sawmill Lane, Lakemoor, was arrested Aug. 22, and charged with theft. He was scheduled to appear in court Sept. 10. 

Retail Theft

Edward J. Majewski, 38, of the 40 block of Green Oaks Dr., Crystal Lake, was arrested Sept. 11, and charged with retail theft under $150. He was transported to the McHenry County Sheriff's Office. 

Robert K. Brzezinski, 28, of the 1500 block of 8th Ave., Belvidere, was arrested Sept. 12, and charged with theft, valued under $500. He was transported to the McHenry County Sheriff's Office, and was scheduled to appear in court Oct. 1.

Anna K. Wilson, 48, of the 7200 block of Owl Way, was arrested Sept. 14,and charged with retail theft, value less than $150. He was scheduled to appear in court Oct. 15.

Eduardo Zarate, 18, of the 7500 block of Hemlock St., Crystal Lake, was arrested Sept. 2, and charged with obstructing identification and retail theft with a value under $150. He was also wanted on a warrant out of McHenry County for battery. He was scheduled to appear in court Oct. 15. 

David W. Gilby, 46, of the 18000 block of Route 173, Harvard, was arrested Sept. 3, and charged with retail theft, value of merchandise under $300. He was transported to the McHenry County Sheriff's Office. 

Violating Order of Protection

Christopher N. Kijak, 24, of the 400 block of Golf Rd., Crystal Lake, was arrested Sept. 12, and charged with violating an order of protection. He was transported to the McHenry County Sheriff's Office, and was scheduled to appear in court Oct. 8. 

Kijak was also arrested Aug. 28, and charged with domestic battery/ bodily harm and criminal damage to property. He was transported to the McHenry County Jail in Woodstock, and was scheduled to appear in court to face those charges on Sept. 24. 

Hit and Run/ DUI

James E. Uvodich, 19, of the 1500 block of Shelton Ln., Crystal Lake, was arrested Sept. 13, and charged with leaving the scene of an accident involving vehicle damage, improper traffic lane use and failure to reduce speed. He was also charged with operating an uninsured motor vehicle and driving under the influence of alcohol. He was scheduled to appear in court Oct. 22. 

Hit and Run/ Criminal Trespassing

Christopher M. Griese, 31, of the 200 block of Evergreen Prkwy., Crystal Lake, was arrested Aug. 31, and charged with:

• Criminal trespass to vehicle
• Leaving the scene of an accident involving vehicle damage
• Failure to give information/ render aid during an accident
• Operating an uninsured motor vehicle
• Disregarding a traffic control device
• Failure to reduce speed
• Revoked/ suspended license

He was transported to the McHenry County Jail and scheduled to appear in court Sept. 24.  

Wanted on Warrant

Bobbie J. Fredricksen, 46, of the 50 block of Briarwood Circle, Crystal Lake, was arrested Sept. 2, on a warrant for fraudulent use of a credit card. He was scheduled to appear in court Sept.17. 

Trespassing

Jeremey P. Sachs, 18, of the 6200 block of Sands Rd., Crystal Lake, was arrested Aug. 27, and charged with criminal trespassing to building. He was scheduled to appear in court Oct. 1.

Defacement of Property

Jessica S. Varela, 28, of the 3700 block of Grand Ave., McHenry, was arrested Aug. 28, and charged with criminal defacement of property. She was transported to the McHenry County Jail in Woodstock.
