CL Police Arrests for Underage Drinking, Marijuana Possession, DUI

Note: The following information was obtained from the Crystal Lake Police arrest reports. An arrest is only an accusation and does not constitute guilt. An individual can only be found guilty in a court of law.

Underage Drinking

Dominick A. Tripoli, 19, of the 700 block of Crabapple Dr., Crystal Lake, was arrested Dec. 14, and charged with consumption of liquor by a minor. 

Braulio Diaz, 18, of the 600 block of Elsinoor Lane, Crystal Lake, was arrested Dec. 22, and charged with consumption of liquor by a minor and possession of a controlled substance (except class A and D). 

Possession of a Controlled Substance

Magdelena A. Wielomek, 18, o the 2400 Waterleaf Lane, Woodstock, was charged Dec. 22 with possession of a controlled substance (except class A and D). 

DUI

Rachel M. Ottens, 41, of the 700 block of St. Andrews Ln., Crystal Lake, was arrested Dec. 20, and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and DUI with a blood-alcohol content over .08. She is scheduled to appear in court Jan. 21. 

William M. Smith, 49, of Jensen Beach, Fla., was arrested Dec. 5 and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and DUI with blood-alcohol content over .08. He is scheduled to appear in court Jan. 16. 

Amanda L. Arnier, 22, of the 10800 block of N. Church St., Huntley, was arrested Dec. 11, and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. She will appear in court Jan. 14. 

Marijuana Possession

Nicholas M. Simms, 20, of the 1400 block of Blue Heron Dr., Crystal Lake, was arrested Dec. 21, and charged with possession of less than 2.5 grams marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and minor buying liquor with false identification. He is scheduled to appear in court Dec. 21. 

Edward J. Hastings-Roach, 21, of Walkup Ave., Crystal Lake, was charged Dec. 12 with possession of 10 to 30 grams marijuana. He is scheduled to appear in court Jan. 7.
