Crystal Lake Police: Residents Arrested for Domestic Battery, CL Man Wanted on Warrant

Crystal Lake Police arrests for domestic battery and outstanding warrant for December 2012 to January 2013.

Domestic Battery

Kevin M. Jamnik, 42, 804 Windsor Dr., Crystal Lake, was arrested Dec. 30 and charged with domestic battery/physical contact, interferring with a domestic violence report and resisting a police officer.

Police said Jamnik was involved in a dispute with a female family member in his home. The battery was of a "provoking nature" and did not cause injury, police said. Jamnik was transported to the McHenry County Sheriff's Office, where he was awaiting bond and a court date.

Destin C. M. Strickland, 24, 1044 W. Stone Creek Circle, Crystal Lake, was arrested Jan. 1, and charged with one count of domestic battery/ physical contact.

Police said Strickland was involved in a battery incident involving an adult male family member at their home. The victim did not need medical attention. Strickland was transported to the McHenry County Sheriff's Jail, where she was awaiting bond and a court date.

Thomas J. Lykowski, 46, 101 Sherbon Dr., Crystal Lake, was arrested Jan. 6, and charged with one count of domestic battery/ physical contact.

Police said Lykowski was involved in domestic battery incident involving two adult family members at their home. No medical attention was needed. Lykowski was transported to the McHenry County Sheriff's Office Jail, where he was awaiting bond and a court date.

Wanted on Warrant

Jose D. Padro, 19, 15 Hill Dr., Crystal Lake, was arrested Jan. 7, on McHenry County Sheriff's Office warrant for manufacturing/ delivering between 10 to 30 grams cannabis, manufacturing/delivering between 10 to 30 grams cannabis near a school, and possession of 10 to 30 grams cannabis.

Padro was transported to the McHenry County Sheriff's Office, where he was awaiting a court date. Bond was set at $20,000 (10 percent applies).
