Crystal Lake Police Arrest Several People for Marijuana Possession, DUI

Note: The following information was obtained from Crystal Lake Police arrest reports. An arrest is only an accusation and does not constitute a conviction. An individual can only be found guilty in a court of law.

DUI

Nicholas J. DeLorenzo, 21, 5321 Shore Dr., McHenry, was arrested March 16, and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol/ intoxicating compounds and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was transported to the McHenry County Jail in Woodstock, where his bail was set at $3,000, 10 percent applies. He is scheduled to appear in court May 14.

Gary B. Markstein, 54, 185 Lynnwood Ln., Brookfield, Wis., was arrested March 28, and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, DUI with blood alcohol content over .08, and speeding. Bond was set at $3,000. He is scheduled to appear in court April 16.

Possession of Marijuana, Drug Paraphernalia

Brian C. Voiss, 24, 85 E. Terra Cotta Ave. 2F, Crystal Lake, was arrested March 19, and charged with possession of 2.5 to 10 grams marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was also arrested on a McHenry County warrant. He posted bond and was released. He was scheduled to appear in court April 2.

Colton G. Steiner, 19, 9220 North Ave., Crystal Lake, was arrested March 19, and charged with possession of less than 2.5 grams cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was transported to the McHenry County Sheriff's Office, where he was awaiting bond and a court date.

Teresa K. Bearer, 44, 530 Second Ave., Marengo, was arrested March 21, and charged with possession of less than 2.5 grams cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia. She posted 10 percent of a $1,500 bond and was released. She is scheduled to appear in court April 16.

Anthony J. Billuni, 22, 1522 Washington, Lake in the Hills, was arrested March 26, and charged with possession of 2.5 to 10 grams cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Robert D. Sosnowski, 27, 5127 N. Oriole, Harwood Heights, was arrested March 15, and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, one count headlight violation and one count headlight/tail light violation. He posted 10 percent of a $1,500 bond and was released. He is scheduled to appear in court April 16.
