Crystal Lake Police Arrest Several for Underage Drinking, Battery, Retail Theft

Note: The following information was obtained from Crystal Lake Police arrest reports. An arrest is only an accusation and does not constitute guilt. An individual can only be found guilty in a court of law.

Underage Drinking

Isaiah L. Williams, 18, of the 500 block of Silver Aspen Circle, Crystal Lake, was arrested Dec. 15, and charged with illegal possession/ consumption of alcohol by a minor.

Joseph F. Daniele, 19, of the 1400 block of Candlewood Dr., Crystal Lake, was arrested Dec. 15, and charged with illegal possession/ consumption of alcohol by a minor.

James I. Sitko, 19, of the 900 block of Stone Creek Circle, Crystal Lake, was arrested Dec. 15, and charged with illegal possession/ consumption of alcohol by a minor. 

Colleen J. Dolan, 18, of the 100 block of Rosedale Dr., Crystal Lake, was arrested Dec. 15, and charged with illegal possession/ consumption of alcohol by a minor.

Brittany A. Foreman, 18, of Shannon Square Dr., Geneva, was arrested Dec. 15, and charged with illegal possession/ consumption of alcohol by a minor.

Drug-Related Charges

Terrance M. Kampas, 24, of the 100 block of Hawthorne Rd., Lake in the Hills, was arrested Dec. 24, and charged with manufacture/ delivery of less than 2.5 grams marijuana, unlawful to knowingly possess a controlled or counterfeit substance, possession of hypodermic needles, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was transported to the McHenry County Jail in Woodstock. He is scheduled to appear in court Jan. 21. 

Domestic Battery

Jonathan D. Fantus, 40, of the 200 block of Ellsworth St., Crystal Lake, was arrested Dec. 24, and charged with aggravated battery/ victim under 60, and domestic battery/ physical contact. He was transported to the McHenry County Sheriff's Office. 

Aggravated Battery

Apryl A. Butler, 48, of the 2300 block of Haniesworth, North Riverside, was arrested Dec. 29, and charged with aggravated battery/ peace officer, resisting/ obstructing peace officer and criminal trespass to building. She was transported to the McHenry County Jail. 

Michael T. Moseley, 29, of the 4900 block of W. Home Ave., McHenry, was arrested Jan. 5, and charged with assault, aggravated battery/ peace officer, and criminal trespass/ remain on land. He was transported to the McHenry County Jail. 

Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Saad S. Ahmed, 18, of the 1100 block of Ridgewood Circle, Lake in the Hills, was arrested Dec. 29, and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. 

Christian J. Cerritos, 20, of the 7500 block of Hemlock St., Crystal Lake, was arrested Dec. 27, and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. He is scheduled to appear in court Jan. 21. 

Marijuana Possession 

Ahmed A. Baig, 18, of the 3800 block of Peartree Dr., Lake in the Hills, was arrested Dec. 29, and charged with possession of less than 2.5 grams marijuana. He is scheduled to appear in court Feb. 4. 

Michael J. Duffy, 27, of the 5800 block of S. Moody, Chicago, was arrested Dec. 27, and charged with possession of less than 2.5 grams marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. He is scheduled to appear in court Feb. 4. 

Ayrton G. Capetillo, 18, of the 5900 block of Ironwood Rd., Crystal Lake, was arrested Jan. 3, and charged with possession of 2.5 to 10 grams marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Capetillo was transported to the McHenry County Jail, and has a court date of Feb. 18. 

Trespassing

Jennifer L. Muscat, 39, of the 10 block of Sugar Creek Court, Lake in the Hills, was arrested Dec. 8, and charged with criminal trespass to building. She is scheduled to appear in court Jan. 14. 

Retail Theft

William L. Slaby, 65, of the 1300 block of Adams St., Lake in the Hills, was arrested Dec. 27, and charged with retail theft. He was transported to the McHenry County Jail. He is scheduled to appear in court Feb. 14. 

Richard T. Weir, 27, of the 800 block of Elm St., McHenry, was arrested Dec. 29, and charged with retail theft/ merchandise valued under $300. 

Sergio D. Padro, 19, of the 200 block of Union St., Crystal Lake, was arrested Dec. 31, and charged with retail theft. He is scheduled to appear in court Jan. 21. 

DUI

Sudud S. Mahmoud, 44, of the 2030 block of Adams St., Rolling Meadows, was arrested Dec. 29, and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, DUI with blood-alcohol content over .08, leaving the scene of an accident an improper lane use. He is scheduled to appear in court Jan. 21. 

Erin J. Johnston, 34, of the 1200 block of Burr St., Lake in the Hills, was arrested Dec. 31 and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, DUI with a blood-alcohol content over .08, possession of less than 2.5 grams marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was transported to the McHenry County Jail, and is scheduled to appear in court Feb. 4.
