Crystal Lake Police Arrest Several for Possession of Marijuana, Drug Paraphernalia

Note: The following information was obtained from Crystal Lake Police arrest reports. An arrest is only an accusation and does not constitute guilt. An individual can only be found guilty in a court of law.

Marijuana Possession

Mark A. Forrest, 36, of the 600 block of Laurell St., Elgin, was arrested on June 24, and charged with possession of between 30 to 500 grams cannabis. He was also wanted on a warrant from the Elgin Police Department for possession of cannabis. Forrest was transported to the McHenry County Jail in Woodstock, where he was awaiting bond and a court date.

Sufiyan Alam, 28, of the 200 block of Park Ave., Cary, was arrested June 9, and charged with possession of less than 2.5 grams cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was transported to the McHenry County Jail in Woodstock. He is scheduled to appear in court July 16. 

Keith M. Dennison, 22, of the 400 block of Buckingham Dr., Crystal Lake, was arrested June 14, and charged with possession of less than 2.5 grams cannabis. He was also wanted on a warrant out of McHenry County for possession of less than 2.5 grams cannabis. He is scheduled to appear in court July 16. 

Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Ryan D. Gnutek, 23, of the 300 block of Rohlwing Road, Itasca, was arrested June 26, and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. He posted bond and was released. He is scheduled to appear in court July 16. 

James M. Davidge, 20, of the 4800 block of Highwood Ln., Lake in the Hills, was arrested May 21 and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released on a notice to appear in court June 18. 

Adam T. Koch, 19, of the 4700 block of Burman Dr., Crystal Lake, was arrested June 29, and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. He was also wanted on a warrant out of McHenry County for trespassing. He was transported to the McHenry County Jail in Woodstock. He was scheduled to appear in court June 25. 

Joel R. Yeschek, 24, of the 5300 block of Greenview Rd., Cary, was arrested June 4, and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released on a notice to appear in court July 16. 

Domestic Battery

Christopher N. Palmer, 19, of the 1100 block of Amberwood Dr., Crystal Lake, was arrested June 26 and charged with domestic battery/ bodily harm. He was also wanted on a warrant. He was transported to the McHenry County Jail in Woodstock, where he was awaiting bond and a court date. 

Disorderly Conduct

William P. Joseph, 22, of the 7600 block of Center St., Wonder Lake, was arrested June 16, and charged with disorderly conduct, and resisting a peace officer. He was transported to the McHenry County Jail in Woodstock. He is scheduled to appear in court Aug. 6.
