CL Police Arrest Several for Domestic Battery; Driving Using Electronic Device

Note: The following information was obtained from Crystal Lake Police arrest reports. An arrest is only an accusation and does not constitute guilt. An individual can only be found guilty in a court of law.

Domestic Battery

Archie L. Pettigrew, 40, 227 Uteg St. #2, Crystal Lake, was arrested March 9, and charged with aggravated domestic battery/ strangle; domestic battery/ bodily harm; domestic battery/ physical contact; and posession of 2.5 to 10 grams cannabis. He was transported to the McHenry County Jail, where he was awaiting bond and a court date.

Gloriana E. Martinez, 24, 128 Lakewood Ave., Crystal Lake, was arrested March 10, and charged with domestic battery/ bodily harm; domestic battery/ physical contact; and resisting/ obstructing a peace officer. Martinez was transported to the McHenry County Jail in Woodstock, where she was awaiting bond and a court date.

Patrick W. Pontarelli, 53, 551 Woodmar Dr., Crystal Lake, was arrested March 12, and charged with domestic battery/ physical contact. He was transported to the McHenry County Jail in Woodstock. He is scheduled to appear in court April 16.

Firearm, No FOID Card

Robert C. Griggs, 47, 404 Stevenson St., Marengo, was arrested March 11, and charged with possession of a firearm without a valid Firearms Owner Identification. He was transported to the Marengo Police Department. He posted 10 percent of a $1,500 bond and was released. He is scheduled to appear in court April 16.

Driving Using Electronic Device

Eva Marie Sanchez, 25, 1921 Tappan St., Woodstock, was arrested March 11, and charged with use of electronic device while driving and driving on a suspended drivers license. She posted 10 percent of a $1,500 bond and was released. She was scheduled to appear in court April 2.

Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Rita L. Kililis, 18, 4809 Terra Cotta Rd., Crystal Lake, was arrested March 12, and charged with posession of drug paraphernalia. She posted 10 percent of a $1,500 bond and was released. She is scheduled to appear in court April 16.
