Crystal Lake Police Arrest Man for Possession of Firearm; Others Wanted on Warrant

Note: The following information was obtained from Crystal Lake Police arrest reports. An arrest is only an accusation and does not constitute guilt. An individual can only be found guilty in a court of law. 

Possession of Firearm

Brian L. Hupp, 50, of the 800 block of Oakbrook Dr., Crystal Lake, was arrested June 29, and charged with felon possession/ use of a firearm, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Hupp is scheduled to appear in court Aug. 30. 

Wanted on Warrant

Joseph M. Wallin, 20, of the 3500 block of Fairview Dr., Johnsburg, was arrested June 30, on a warrant out of McHenry County. Bond was set at $5,000, 10 percent applies. He is scheduled to appear in court Aug. 5. 

Delio Rivera, 38, of the 300 block of S. McHenry Ave., Crystal Lake, was arrested July 20, on a warrant out of Cook County. Bond was set at $10,000, 10 percent applies. He is scheduled to appear in court Aug. 15. 

Failure to Notify Vehicle Damage

Alex M. O'Brien, 23, of the 5800 block of Springs Blvd., Crystal Lake, was arrested July 12, and charged with failure to notify damage to an unattended vehicle. Bond was set at $1,500, 10 percent applies. He is scheduled to appear in court Aug. 6. 

DUI

Jeremy R. Anderson, 26, of the 200 Uteg St., Crystal Lake, was arrested July 14, and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, illegal possession/ transportation of liquor, and DUI with a blood-alcohol content over .08. He is scheduled to appear in court Aug. 27.
