CL Police Arrests for Underage Drinking, DUIs, Leaving Accident Scene

Note: The following information was obtained from Crystal Lake Police arrest reports. An arrest does not constitute a conviction. An individual can only be found guilty in a court of law.

Underage Drinking

Jessica A. Destefano-Honer, 20, 532 Nunda Tr., Crystal Lake, was arrested Feb. 24, and charged with consumption of alcohol by a minor, improper turn at an intersection, and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. She was released on a notice to appear in court March 14.

William J. Roy, 20, 5227 Betsy, McHenry, was arrested March 2, and charged with illegal possession/ consumption of alcohol by a minor and possession of less than 2.5 grams cannabis. Roy posted $120 bond and was released. He is scheduled to appear in court March 26.

DUI

Nathan J. Smith, 27, 714 Regency Park Dr., Crystal Lake, was arrested Feb. 26 and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, improper lane use, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, and failure to reduce speed. Smith posted $300 for bail and was released. He is scheduled to appear in court March 25.

Bradley G. Linnane, 31, 1115 Violet Ave., McHenry, was arrested Feb. 27, and charged with driving under the influence of drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released on a notice to appear in court April 2.

Donna J. Piscopo, 51, 458 Potomac Ln., Elk Grove Village, was arrested Feb. 28, and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, DUI with a blood-alcohol content over .08, improper lane use, illegal transportation of liquor by a driver. She posted $100 and a drivers license for bail, and was released. She is scheduled to appear in court March 19.

Ryan J. Budyak, 34, 220 Gladys Ave., Fox River Grove, was arrested March 4, and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, DUI with blood-alcohol content over .08, expired drivers license, expired registration, and improper lane use. Budyak posted bond and was released. He is scheduled to appear in court April 16.

Leaving Accident Scene

Kenneth G. Sankot, 41, 480 Riverside Dr., Crystal Lake, was arrested Feb. 23, and charged with leaving the scene of an accident involving vehicle damage, failure to notify damage on an unattended vehicle and improper lane use. Sankot posted $150 and was released. He is scheduled to appear in court March 19.

Resisting Police

Brian S. Halvorsen, 19, 1801 Queensport Dr., Crystal Lake, was arrested Feb. 21 and charged with resisting a peace officer. He was transported to the McHenry County Jail in Woodstock where his bond was set at $1,500. He is scheduled to appear in court March 19.
