Crystal Lake Man Charged with Home Invasion and Domestic Battery

Eric J. Wyatt, 52, of Crystal Lake, is accused of forcing his way into a McHenry home to confront an ex-girlfriend and beating two occupants.

Crystal Lake resident Eric J. Wyatt, 52, of 413 Lake Ave., was arrested Saturday night and charged with home invasion, aggravated domestic battery, domestic battery and unlawful interfering with a domestic violence report, the Northwest Herald is reporting. 

The article states Wyatt forced his way into a McHenry home on Vista Terrace at about 8:20 p.m. Oct. 19 to confront his ex-girlfriend and allegedly beat two occupants. The victims, one male and one female, suffered minor injuries.  

Crystal Lake police located Wyatt, took him into custody and transferred him to McHenry Police. Wyatt is being held in the McHenry County Jail and will appear in court Monday morning.
