Convicted Sex Offender Arrested Again
Sheriff's Deputies arrest county man for not reporting address change.

David D. Seidel, 44, of Volo was charged with Failure of a Sex Offender to Report Change of Address after deputies found Seidel in Cary.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, deputies were notified that Seidel had an outstanding warrant for failure to register as a sex offender. The McHenry County Sheriff’s Office Fugitive Apprehension Unit gathered intelligence that Seidel frequently visited the address of 2 Kenilworth Court in Cary.

Seidel was taken into custody Tuesday at that address without further incident and transported to McHenry County Correctional Facility.
No additional charges are expected.

According to the Illinois State Police, Seidel was arrested nine years ago for possession of child pornography.
