Comcast On Demand to Air County's Top 10 Most Wanted Fugitives

TV viewers will be able to click "On Demand" and see subjects wanted by McHenry and Cook counties.

 

The McHenry County Sheriff's Office is joining forces with Comcast in an effort to capture the most-wanted criminals in McHenry and Cook counties.

Sheriff Keith Nygren has announced the county's Top Ten Most Wanted Fugitives and other subjects wanted in McHenry County will be aired on Comcast On Demand.

Comcast television customers will be able to click On Demand, Get Local, and then scroll to police blotter. Viewers will see wanted subjects from McHenry and Cook counties, the only two agencies currently engaged in the program, according to a Sheriff's Office press release.

Information and photographs of the wanted fugitives will be updated as they are apprehended. After viewing information about a wanted person, a brief safety message is also provided.

“This is a great new resource for the public to be informed about wanted subjects and for us to get a crime prevention message out to the community in a unique way,” Under Sheriff Andrew Zinke said in the release.
