CL Police Blotter: Possession of Drugs, Paraphernalia, Outstanding Warrants

Crystal Lake Police release reports for June 18- 22.

Juvenile Arrest

A 17-year-old juvenile was arrested June 18 and charged with one count of possession of drug paraphernalia and one count possession of 2.5 - 10 grams cannabis. A parent or guardian was notified and the juvenile was released.

Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Cannabis

Thomas J. Hogan, 18, 152 Ashton Ln., Crystal Lake, was arrested at 9:30 p.m. June 18 and charged with one count of possession of drug paraphernalia and one count possession of less than 2.5 grams cannabis. A parent or guardian was notified and Hogan was released at 10:25 p.m. June 18.

Driving on Suspended License

Neil F. Hohlstein, 45, 702 Stevenson St., Marengo, was arrested June 19 and charged with one count of driving on a suspended license and one count of operating an uninsured motor vehicle. Hohlstein posted bond and was released. He is scheduled to appear in court at 8:30 a.m. July 17.

Driving Without Having a Drivers License

Carlos A. Alavarez-Martinez, 25, was arrested June 20 and charged with one count of driving without having a drivers license, and one count of speeding. Martinez posted 10 percent of a $1,500 bond. He is scheduled to appear in court at 8:30 a.m. July 24. 

Outstanding Arrest Warrants

Ronald D. Nunes, 46, 58 Burr Oak Dr., Crystal Lake, was arrested June 20 on an outstanding McHenry County Sheriff's warrant for battery. Nunes posted bond and was released. He was scheduled to appear in court at 8:30 a.m. July 10.

Matthew J. Marchbanks, 25, 8512 Voce Ct., Cary, was arrested June 22 on an outstanding McHenry County Sheriff's Office warrant for felony theft. Marchbanks was released to the McHenry County Sheriff's Office, where he was awaiting a court date.
