CL Police Blotter: DUIs, Domestic Battery

An arrest does not constitute a conviction. Only a court of law can convict an individual of a crime.

Juvenile Arrest

A 16-year-old juvenile was arrested May 22 and charged with one count of casual delivery of between 2.5 -10 grams of cannabis and count of possession of less than 2.5 cannabis.

Reckless Driving

Stephanie L. Berreles, 21, 2367 Kittridge Dr., West Dundee, was arrested May 30 and charged with one count of reckless driving. Berreles posted bond and was released. She is scheduled to appear in court at 8:30 a.m. July 3.

Damage to Property

Adrian Herandez, 23, 941 Courtney Dr., Carpentersville, was arrested May 30 and charged with one count of criminal damage to property. Damage was estimated at less than $300. Herandez posted bond and was released. He is scheduled to appear in court at 8:30 a.m. July 3.

DUI

Jose L. Aguilar-Maya, 44, 104 N. Orchard, Round Lake, was arrested June 2 and charged with two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol. Maya posted bond and was released. He is scheduled to appear in court at 8:30 a.m. June 19.

William P. O’Gorman, 48, 608 Devonshire Ln., Crystal Lake, was arrested May 31 and charged with one count of driving under the influence of alcohol or an intoxicating compound, one count of aggravated DUI- third license suspension or revocation, and one count of driving on a revoked drivers license. O’Gorman was transported to the McHenry County Sheriff’s Jail in Woodstock. He was awaiting bond and a court date.

Domestic Battery

Taylor R. Hawkins, 21, 140 W. Woodstock St. – D, Crystal Lake, was arrested May 28 and charged with one count of domestic battery. Hawkins was transported to the McHenry County Jail in Woodstock. Hawkins was scheduled to appear in court at 8:30 a.m. June 13.

Christina M. Gibson, 19, 560 McHenry Ave., Crystal Lake, was arrested May 31 and charged with one count of domestic battery. Gibson was transported to the McHenry County Sheriff’s Office in Woodstock, where she was awaiting a court date.
