Cary Police Blotter: DUI, Battery, Underage Drinking
Cary Police release reports for July 22 to Aug. 2, 2012.
The Cary Police Department issued numerous citations between July and August for various traffic offenses including speeding, improper lane use, uninsured motorist, disobeying a stop sign or traffic signal device, speeding in a school zone and use of a cellular phone in a school zone.
The Cary Police Department made the following arrests:

DUI/ Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor
Jonathan M. Foss, 21, 3 Pin Oak, Cary, was arrested at 1:10 a.m. July 22, and charged with one count of driving under the influence of alcohol, one count of driving while license suspended, and one count of unlawful use of a drivers license. Police stopped Foss at West Krenz Avenue and School Street.

Erin E. Kiefer, 19, 66 Bluff Circle, Cary, was arrested during the same stop and charged with one count of consumption of alcohol by a minor.
Nadine A. Spiker, 44, 6501 Silver Lake Rd., Cary, was arrested at 8 p.m. Aug. 1, and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. Spiker was stopped at Silver Lake and Cary-Algonquin roads.
Battery
Sarah G. Brainerd, 33, 566 Cary Woods Circle, Cary, was arrested at 12:01 a.m. Aug. 2, and charged with one count of battery and one count of allowng a dog to run at large. Brainerd was arrested at 23 High Road, Cary.
Transportation of Open Liquor
John J. Wrona, 62, 7430 Cove Dr., Cary, was arrested at 1:29 p.m. July 29, and charged with one count of transportation of open liquor. Wrona was stopped at Three Oaks Road and Prairie.
Burglary from a Car
Unknown offender(s) entered two unlocked cars in the 800 block of Crabtree Lane and stole several items valued at $152. Police said the cars were parked in the owner's driveway. The theft occured sometime before 9:30 a.m. July 22.
Approximately $900 worth of items were reported stolen at 1:30 p.m. July 31, from a Jeep parked in a driveway in the 1200 block of West Danbury Drive.
Damage to Property
The front glass door at the Metra Train Station, 100 W. Main St., Cary, was reported damaged at 7:30 a.m. July 23. Police said the damage totalled about $400.
Theft
A Mongoose bicycle valued at $100 was reported stolen at 1:30 p.m. July 26. The bike was taken from the front of the building at St. Peter and Paul, 410 N. First St., Cary.
