Car Crash, Driving Offenses

Alexander Farina, 20, 1475 Loch Lomond Dr., Crystal Lake, was arrested at 1 a.m. May 16 and charged with one count of fleeing and attempting to elude police; disobeying a traffic signal; failure to report an accident to police; reckless driving; failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident; disobeying a no-passing zone; improper lane use; improper turn; failure to dim headlights; and failure to yield to an emergency vehicle. Farina was stopped by police near Northwest Highway and Cary-Algonquin Road in Cary.

Harassment of a Witness

Erick Angeles, 18, 100 Sunset Dr., Cary, was arrested at 8:30 a.m. June 9, and charged with one count of harassment of a witness and disorderly conduct. 


Ramona Babosa, 23, 731 Millwood St., Cary, was arrested at 3:13 a.m. June 10, and charged with one count of battery.

Burglary- Possession of Stolen Vehicles

Nicholas C. Svoboda, 18, of Cary, was arrested at 11:45 a.m. June 11, and charged with one count of residential burglary, according to Cary Police reports. Svoboda was stopped in the 400 block of Glen Garry Road, Cary.

Nicholas C. Svoboda, 18, of Cary, was arrested at 6:35 a.m. June 12, and charged with two counts of unlawful possession of a stolen vehicle. Svoboda was stopped at 95 Briargate Rd., Cary.

DUI- Drugs

Andrew J. Smith, 28, 475 Cary Woods Circle, Cary, was arrested at 12:23 a.m. June 14, and charged with one count of driving under the influence of drugs.

Outstanding Arrest Warrant

Glen S. Ransom, 29, 731 Millwood St., Cary, was arrested at 5:18 p.m. June 17, on an outstanding in-state warrant.

Michael Z. May, 29, 635 Krenz Ave., Cary, was arrested at 12:42 p.m. June 12, on outstanding in-state warrant.

Paula Decesare, 35, 4015 Roberts Rd., Island Lake, was arrested at 9:03 a.m. May 23, on an outstanding warrant. Decesare was stopped at 400 Haber Court Road in Cary.
