Area Teen Who Drove SUV Into Town Homes Did Not Have License: Police

A Huntley teen who drove a sports utility vehicle into two town homes, a gas meter and a parked car before becoming stuck in another garage unit Monday did not have his driver's license, according to the Daily Herald. 

The 17-year-old boy was taken to an area hospital for minor injuries following the crash, which occurred in the 10900 block of Cape Cod Lane just before 4:45 p.m., after the boy lost control of his family's SUV, according to the article.

The teen has been charged with failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and not having a valid driver's license, according to the Daily Herald.
