4 Crystal Lake Men Charged with Drug Conspiracy; Warrant Issued for 5th

Four Crystal Lake men and one Chicago man have been arrested in what the McHenry County Sheriff's Office is describing as a drug conspiracy. 

The Sheriff's Office Narcotics Unit conducted an undercover narcotics investigation involving the sale of crack cocaine in the Crystal Lake area over the past few weeks. 

The Crystal Lake Police Department and agents from the Drug Enforcement Agency, and the U.S. Marshal Service-Great Lakes Regional Task Force assisted with the investigation, according to a news release. 

On December 20, the team of officers arrested five of six men involved in the alleged conspiracy after multiple narcotics related arrest warrants were issued.

The officers seized approximately 7.3 grams of marijuana, 14.7 grams of cocaine, nine Hydrocodone pills, six Diazepam pills, two handguns, ammunition, drug paraphernalia, and $550, the release states. 

The estimated street value of the narcotics seized in this investigation to be approximately $1,800, according to the Sheriff's Office. 

While five men were arrested, a warrant has been issued for the arrest of a sixth person involved, Terry R. Pugh, formerly of Crystal Lake.

The five men arrested include:

Jeremy R. Anderson, 26, of 217 Uteg St.- Apt. H, Crystal Lake. Anderson was charged with Unlawful Calculated Criminal Drug Conspiracy (class X) and unlawful delivery of a controlled substance (class 1).

Martin J. Herman, 51, 74 Elmhurst Apt. C, Crystal Lake. Herman was charged with unlawful calculated criminal drug conspiracy (class X) and two counts of unlawful delivery of a controlled substance (class X).

Michael Larkin, 34, 74 Elmhurst Apt. C, Crystal Lake. Larkin was arrested for unlawful calculated criminal drug conspiracy (class X), two counts of unlawful delivery of a controlled substance (class X) and two counts unlawful possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver (class 3).

Olatunji J. Oni, Jr., 26, of 74 Elmhurst Apt. C, Crystal Lake. Oni was charged with unlawful calculated criminal drug conspiracy (class X) and two counts of unlawful delivery of a controlled substance (class X).

Larion L. Littleton, 20, 63 E. 78th St. Apt. 1, Chicago. Littleton was charged with unlawful calculated criminal drug conspiracy (class X) and two counts of unlawful deliver of a controlled substance (class X).

Terry R. Pugh, 24, formerly of Crystal Lake (no known address). Warrant for arrest for unlawful calculated criminal drug Conspiracy (class X) and three counts of unlawful delivery of a controlled substance (class 1).
