Wade C. North, 39, Loved Racing at Lake Geneva Speedway

Friends may join the North family in celebrating Wade's life at the Davenport Funeral Home on Saturday Nov. 3, 2012. Visitation will begin at 2 p.m.; the service will begin at 4 p.m.

 

Wade Christopher North, 39, of Crystal Lake, Ill., passed away unexpectedly at his home on Saturday Oct. 27, 2012.

Wade was born to Marston and Louisa (Charpentier) North on Feb. 9, 1973, at St. Hyacinthe Hospital in Montreal, Quebec.  He was a graduate of Crystal Lake Central High School in 1991.

A passion for cars led him to a career in the automotive industry. An accomplished diesel mechanic, in his spare time, Wade enjoyed working on cars at the “yard” and racing at the Lake Geneva Speedway.

Wade was united in marriage to Linda Chrzanowski on Sept. 22, 2001, at The Shepherd of Hills Lutheran Church in McHenry. The couple was married for 10 years.

Wade is survived by his parents, Marty and Louisa North; his beloved sister, Melissa North Mathews; a brother-in-law, Jack Mathews; his cherished pets, Ray and Chicken; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Friends may join the North family in celebrating Wade’s life at the Davenport Funeral Home, 419 E. Route 176, Crystal Lake, on Saturday Nov. 3, 2012. Visitation will begin at 2 p.m. The service will begin at 4 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Wade’s name may be made to Good Samaritan Fund, c/o Best Friends Animal Hospital, 1203 N. Rt. 83, Grayslake, IL 60030.
