Robert E. Lines, Sr., 71, of Crystal Lake
Visitation is 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 31, at Querhammer & Flagg Funeral Home in Crystal Lake. A graveside service is at 10 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 1, at Linn Hebron Cemetery, Hebron.
Robert E. Lines, Sr., 71, of Crystal Lake and formerly of Genoa, died January 26, 2013 at University of Illinois Hospital after a short illness.
He was born Sept. 8, 1941.

He graduated from Genoa Kingston High School in 1960. He bowled many years in Crystal Lake and was Secretary Treasurer for McHenry County Bowling Association for many years.
He is survived by his son Robert E. Lines Jr.; his grandsons, Matthew and Eric Lines; his step-children, Roger "Buddy" (Marsha) Dixon, and Cindy Howard; his step-grandchildren, James (Debba), Beth, Jessica, and Michael Dixon, Jake Clark, and David Landon; his step-great-grandchildren, Taylor, Jaryd, Kyera, Joshua, Janessa, Anthony, James, and Jayden; and his sister, Patricia A. (Lines) Margolies.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Roberta; his parents, Robert P. and Virginia Lines, and his maternal and paternal grandparents.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 31, at Querhammer & Flagg Funeral Home, 500 W. Route 176, Crystal Lake. A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 1, at Linn Hebron Cemetery, Hebron.
