Peg VanLier, 60, of Crystal Lake; Owner of Peg and Ted's Red Mill in Woodstock

A memorial gathering will be from 1 to 5 p.m. with a time of sharing at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 23, at Querhammer & Flagg Funeral Home, 500 W. Route 176, Crystal Lake.

Peg VanLier (nee Konieczka), 60, of Crystal Lake passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, November 17, 2013.

She was born June 12, 1953 to Stephen and Evelyn Konieczka.

On August 8, 1995, she married Ted VanLier in Negril, Jamaica.

She owned and operated Peg & Ted's Red Mill in Woodstock from 1995 until 2010.

Peg enjoyed backgammon, playing slots and walking her dog Snowflake.

She is survived by her husband Ted; children, Robert Cragin, Rosemaree Cragin; granddaughter Megaan Fielder; brother Dennis Konieczka and sister Jan Skidmore and many other family and friends that loved her dearly.

She is preceded in death by her parents and five siblings.

A memorial gathering will be from 1 to 5 p.m. with a time of sharing at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 23, at Querhammer & Flagg Funeral Home, 500 W. Route 176, Crystal Lake.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the American Diabetes Association . or the American Heart Association.
