Margaret Marlewski, 85, of Crystal Lake; Owned Buffalo Grove General Store

Margaret Marlewski died February 2, 2013, peacefully from complications of Alzheimer's disease at the age of 85.

Margaret was the beloved wife of Raymond A. Marlewski, dearly loved mother of Debbie, Marie, Bonnie and Pam, and grandmother of Garret and Katie.

Margaret was born in Ireland and immigrated to the Chicago area as a young woman, met Raymond in the church choir, married and raised four children together before retiring to Sun City, Arizona.

The couple owned the Buffalo Grove General Store for many years in Buffalo Grove.

A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 8, at Querhammer & Flagg Funeral Home, 500 W. Route 176, Crystal Lake, Illinois.

In lieu of flowers, donations to an Alzheimer's charity would be appreciated.
