Margaret A. Thurow, 68, of Crystal Lake, passed away Monday, Nov. 19, 2012 at Hospice of Northeastern Illinois in Woodstock.
She was born Feb. 15, 1944 in Chicago, to Helen and Andrew Robb. She married Frank Thurow on April 4, 1964, in Chicago.
She was a loving mother and worked as a playground supervisor for District 47. Margaret was an avid reader.
She is survived by her husband Frank; her son, Jeffrey (Tamara) Thurow; her grandchildren, Amanda, David, and Nicholas; her great-granddaughter, Alaina; her sister, Helen (Mike) Blair; and her best friend, Mary Zavorski.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her son, Craig, and her brothers, Kenny and John Robb.
According to her wishes, services will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
