Visitation will be from 9 to 11:30 am on Monday, Jan. 28, at Davenport Family Funeral Home in Crystal Lake, followed by noon Mass at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church.
James C. McTague, 82 of Crystal Lake, formerly of Chicago, passed away Jan. 25, 2013, at his home in Crystal Lake, surrounded by his loving family.
James was born July 9, 1930, in Chicago to Charles and Sarah McTague.

James was the beloved husband for 58 years of Arleene (nee Jakowski), loving father of Kevin (Sue), James Jr., Michael (Patricia), Kathleen (James) Nugent, and Thomas, dear grandfather of Kaitlyn, Kelley, Sean, Cassidy Rose, Bridget, Carly, Tommy, Patrick, Madeline, and Emmett.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Eileen, and brother, Thomas.

Visitation will be from 9 to 11:30 am on Monday, Jan. 28, at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 419 E. Route 176, Crystal Lake, followed by noon Mass at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 451 W. Route 176, Crystal Lake.
Interment will be private.
