Gregory A. Frank, 58, of Crystal Lake, Devoted Father and Grandfather, Member of Willow Creek

The visitation will be from 3 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2012, until the time of funeral service at 7 p.m., at the Davenport Family Funeral Home, 419 E. Route 176, Crystal Lake.

 

Gregory A. Frank, 58, of Crystal Lake, died Saturday, Dec. 15, 2012, at his home.

He was born May 31, 1954, in Elgin, to Bernice (nee Smethurst) and the
late Gordon R. Frank.

Greg was a great and loving father, who was very devoted to his two grandsons. He enjoyed trout and bass fishing, Western dancing, was a talented woodworker, and had been a soccer coach for the Crystal Lake Park District. Greg attended Willow Creek Community Church in Crystal Lake.

In addition to his mother, Bernice of Carpentersville, survivors include his sons, Jason Frank of Phoenix, AZ, Jeffrey (Lynn) Frank of Cary, and Ben (Danielle Costantino) of Crystal Lake; grandsons, Nathan and Parker Frank; siblings, Linda (Michael) Szwankowski of Algonquin, Jeannine (Marty) Ames of Bartlett, Robert (Gail) Frank of Cary, Richard (Carol) Frank of Algonquin, Dennis (Michelle) Frank of Crystal Lake, and Douglas (Robin) Frank of Crystal Lake; and by many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his father, Gordon, he was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Frank.

The visitation will be from 3 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2012, until the time of funeral service at 7 p.m., at the Davenport Family Funeral Home, 419 E. Route 176, Crystal Lake.

Inurnment will be private.
