Gerhard H. Klutke, 75, of Crystal Lake, Owner of GKI Inc.
A visitation was held on Saturday, Nov. 19, from noon until the time of the memorial service at 4 p.m. at the Skaja Bachmann Funeral Home, 7715 W. Route 14 in Crystal Lake.
Gerhard H. Klutke, 75, of Crystal Lake, passed away Monday, Nov. 5, 2012.
He was born April 22, 1937, in Hamburg, Germany the son of Hans and Marta Klutke. He married his wife Ilse Osinski on December 18, 1959.

Gerhard was the owner of GKI Incorporated in Crystal Lake. He emigrated from Germany in 1964 and started his business in the garage in 1971.
He enjoyed soccer, hockey, skiing and golf. Gerhard was one of the founders of the Crystal Lake Leafs Hockey Club. He loved spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren who affectionately called him “Opa." He will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his wife Ilse, two sons Olaf (Tammy) of Long Grove and Eric (Sue) of Crystal Lake. His grandchildren; Taylor, Max, Eric, Lauren and Kaitlyn Klutke.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Ingrid.

Interment will be private.
