Evan Mark Peterson, 51, of Crystal Lake
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 25, with a prayer service at 7 p.m. at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 419 E. Route 176, Crystal Lake.
Born November 28, 1960 in Bakersfield, Cal., Evan Mark Peterson passed away Aug. 20, 2012, at his home in Crystal Lake, surrounded by his family.
Evan was proud of the time he spent volunteering for the Red Cross Disaster Services. He enjoyed drawing and music, and he cherished the time he spent with his sons.

Evan is survived by his wife of 24 years, Michelle (nee Kozlowski), sons Mark and Matthew, sister Lori (Eric) Sanders, and his father, Robin Waldemar Peterson.
He was preceded in death by his mother Mildred (nee Anderson).

Services will also be held in California, where Evan will be buried.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Peterson family for the future education of Evan's sons.
