Carol Anspaugh, 71, of Crystal Lake, Devoted Wife, Mother, Grandmother

Visitation and Mass of the Resurrection: Tuesday, Oct. 23. Visitation from 9:30 a.m. until the Mass at 11:30am, at Resurrection Catholic Church, 2918 S. Country Club Rd., Woodstock.

 

Carol Anspaugh, 71, passed away Friday, Oct. 19, 2012 in Chicago.

She was born Oct. 30, 1940, in Escanaba, Mich.

Carol was a devoted wife and loving mother.  She was the heartbeat of the family and cherished the time she spent with her children and nine grandchildren.  Carol was an avid reader and artist. She was a devoted servant, daily communicant, and spiritual model to family and friends. 

Carol is survived by her husband of 49 years, Ted Anspaugh, daughters Lynn (Rod) Ige, Barbara (John) Miceli, and Jeanne (Joe) Connolly, grandchildren; Caitlin, TJ, John, Katie, Michael, PJ, Abby, Jillian, and Richie, sister Barbara Kawasaki, and many loving family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Whitney and Iona (nee Bergman) Dixon.

Visitation will be 9:30am until the time of the funeral mass at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 23, at Resurrection Catholic Church, 2918 S. Country Club Road, Woodstock. 

Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers memorials, in Carol’s name, may be made to: St. Vincent DePaul Society, c/o St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 1023 McHenry Ave, Crystal Lake, IL 60014.
