R. W. Bill Baruth Jr., of Crystal Lake; Little League Coach, Member of Libertarian Party

A memorial visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 8, at Querhammer & Flagg Funeral Home, 500 W. Route 176, Crystal Lake.

Raymond William "Bill" Baruth Jr. died peacefully at his home in Crystal Lake on Oct. 4, 2013.

He was a Navy veteran and worked as an independent sales rep in the packaging industry. He was a volunteer Little League Coach for over 20 years, a member of the Libertarian Party for 40 years and active with the Toastmasters Club of Crystal Lake.

He was a man who lived a life of quiet dignity. He loved, cherished and protected those who he cared about most. He was honest and ethical. He was deeply respected and admired by everyone who knew him.

He was deeply loved by many and will be truly missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by the mother of his children, Barbara; children Ray, Wendy (Tom) , Lisa (Mike), and Billy (Kathy); four grandchildren, Cameron, Erika, Dillon and Ben; and sisters, Fran Holt and Alice (Dan) Spillard; nieces, nephews and many friends.

A memorial visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 8, at Querhammer & Flagg Funeral Home, 500 W. Route 176, Crystal Lake.

Visitation will continue from 10 a.m. until the service at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 9, at the funeral home. Interment will be private.
