MCC Offers Educational Summer Programming for Kids

Avoid the inevitable “I’m Bored!” complaints this summer with sports camps and Kids and College classes at McHenry County College.

Sports camps include professionally coached basketball and soccer programs for athletes in grades 1-9, while Kids and College topics include art, theater, science, math readiness, and a variety of technology classes that can be taken individually or as part of the MCC STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) camps.

STEM campers can learn how to build a super structure that can survive an earthquake, hurricane or typhoon; design the next generation spacecraft for missions to Mars and beyond, or engineer an ROV that can explore the deep seas.

MCC’s Kids and College summer programs combine quality, innovation and just plain fun into programming that helps prepares students in grades 1-9 for the 21st century and beyond.
