Take a (Nature) Hike!

With the fall weather on its way, this is a good time to get outdoors and learn about local nature.

The public is invited to join ecologist Melissa Hormann for a guided tour of lands
managed by The Land Conservancy of McHenry County on the second Wednesday and last Sunday of each month.

Each site plays an important role in supporting local nature. The hikes are meant to introduce area residents to some of the hidden” natural areas in the county. The schedule for September and October includes:

Wednesday, September 12: 5:30-7:00 Yonder Prairie, 1206 S. Rose Farm Road, Woodstock
