Village of Cary and Cary Park District Begin Construction on Briargate Road and the Community Center Parking Lot

Beginning shortly after Labor Day, the Cary Park District and the Village of Cary will reconstruct portions of Briargate road and the Community Center parking lot as a cooperative project. The project will not only resurface the road and parking lot, but will allow the opportunity for more parking spaces and safer access crossing the street from the parking lot to the building.

The project is expected to take 5 - 6 weeks. The Community Center, Village Hall, and Police Department will be open during construction; however the traffic pattern, parking, and access to the Community Center will change during this time.

Parking for the Village Hall and the Police Department will remain the same; however, parking for the Community Center will be relocated to street parking and in temporary parking lots around the Center.

More information is available on the Park District website, carypark.com and will be updated as the project progresses.
