The Cary Park District pool will turn into a luau themed beach party. Luau Day at the Pool will be held on Friday, July 19 from 12:00 – 5:00 pm at the Cary pool at the Community Center, 255 Briargate Road, Cary.
Activities for the day included swimming, shaved ice, raffles, hula hoop contests, and limbos. From 1:30 – 4:30 pm, Peaches Beach Party, a one man band playing the hits of Jimmy Buffet, Van Morrison, The Beach Boys, and others, will perform on the pool deck. The first twenty-five guests will receive a free Luau Day T-shirt.
Admission is half-price the daily admission fee for the afternoon.
