Cary Park District Announces Summer Concert in the Park Series

The Cary Park District is pleased to announce the lineup for the 2013 summer Concert in the Park series. Summer concerts are held on Thursdays at the Rotary Bandshell in Lions Park. All concerts begin at 7:00 pm and are free to the public thanks to the generous sponsorship of The Rotary Club of Cary-Grove and McHenry County Living.

June 13: Teen Battle of the Band Participants
The three bands who participated in the Cary Area Teen Battle of the Bands will perform. Schedule to perform are Rusted (the winning band), Emerald Five, and Classified Authority.  

June 20: Lisa Rene Band
The Lisa Rene Band is one Chicagoland's hottest female-led variety bands. Playing a variety of pop, rock, country, Motown, and R&B, Lisa's powerhouse vocals, captivating stage presence paired with the bands strong male vocals, lush harmonies, and rocking full sound bring every audience to it's feet and wanting more.   

June 27: Crazy Talk
Crazy Talk is an exciting country band playing the current hits plus remakes of classic country songs. Their rich harmonies complimented by outstanding musicianship make their live performances something not to be missed.  

July 11: Alex and the Allstars
Playing a variety of hits from the 70s until now, Alex & The Allstars engage their audience with talented musicianship combined with a party-time attitude.  

July 18: Ocean Blu Jazz Ensemble
The Ocean Blu Jazz Ensemble consist of musicians who come from a variety of backgrounds that have a passion for making jazz music come to life. This band plays all types of jazz from classical big band to modern/contemporary jazz.
