Cary Park District Hosts Hershey Track & Field Games

The Cary Park District and the Hershey Company present Hershey's National Track and Field Games. This meet will be held on Sunday, June 2 from 12:00 – 3:00 pm at the Cary-Grove High School Track.

The Cary Park District and the Hershey Company present Hershey’s National Track and Field Games. This meet is open to boys and girls ages 9 – 14 years old and will be held on Sunday, June 2 from 12:00 – 3:00 pm at the Cary-Grove High School Track. 

Events will include the 50 meter dash, 100 meter dash, 200 meter dash, 400 meter dash, 800 meter run, 1600 meter run, 4 x 100 meter relay, standing long jump, and softball throw. Winners of the meet may be eligible to advance to the state meet or even the national finals in Hershey, PA.

The Hershey’s Track & Field Games has involved millions of youngsters from all 50 states, the District of Columbia, and the 10 provinces and territories of Canada. It is solely sponsored by The Hershey Company and partnered with the National Recreation and Park Association, Athletics Canada, and National Association for Sport and Physical Education. Hershey’s Track & Field Games is designed to encourage physical fitness among youth and emphasize participation and sportsmanship.
