Cary Park District Board of Commissioners Recognizes Community Volunteers

The Cary Park Board recognized seven individuals for outstanding volunteerism within their organizations, the community, and the Park District.

At the Cary Park District’s March 28, 2013 Park Board of Commissioners meeting, seven individuals were recognized for their volunteerism in providing exceptional recreation, parks, and open space opportunities and "Make A Difference" to their organizations, the community, and the Park District.

Recognized were:

  • Tom Layshock, Cary Grove Youth Baseball & Softball
  • Malinda Bacchi, Cary Park District Senior Center Volunteer
  • Chris Ladd, Cary Junior Trojans Football 
  • Bill Pickett, Cary Community Volunteer
  • Rob Fankhauser, Cary Soccer Association
  • Kristen Fadden, Cary Barracuda Swim Team Volunteer
  • David Raica, Cary Park District
