The Obama Health Care Reform Plan Explained

The Notre Dame Club of McHenry County invites the pulbic to attend its 2012 Hesburgh Lecture entitled, The Obama Health Care Reform Plan, and will be presented by Prof. William Evans of the University of Notre Dame.  

The lecture is Wedesday, Dec. 5th, 7:30 p.m., in the auditorium of Marian Central Catholic High School, 1001 McHenry Ave., Woodstock..  The event is open to the public and there is no cost to attend what shapes up to be an informative presentation.

The lecture outlines the four key issues that any comprehensive health care refrom package should address.  Second, the presentation will outline the Obama plan and discusses how The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA) addresses those four key issues.  Dr. Evans will include some of the likely impacts of the proposed health care reform.

William Evans, PhD has his degree from Duke University, spent 20 years as a faculty member at Maryland University before joining the faculty at the University of Nortre Dame as the Keough-Hessburgh Professor of Economics .
