Teens are Invited to Catch Some Waves in New Buffalo, MI

Did you know you could surf in Lake Michigan?  Well you can, and the Crystal Lake Park District is offering the opportunity for 6-12th graders to take a day trip to one of the top 5 places to learn to surf in the United States, New Buffalo, Michigan.  We will be heading to the Third Coast Surf Shop where all participants will receive a board and surf lesson from a professional surf instructor.  All registrants must be able to SWIM.  Please note: Mother Nature is unpredictable, and there is no guarantee that there will be waves; however, there is usually enough waves to push a board and there will be an opportunity to swim and relax at the beach.
