Crystal Lake Park District Park Place Strives to Help Small Businesses and Home-Based Businesses To Grow

Lauren Thibodeau, Facility Manager of the Crystal Lake Park District Park Place banquet & meeting facility knows first-hand of some of the challenges that small business and home-based business owners face when trying to plan and host business meetings, mixers and training sessions. With many years of experience in the meeting and event planning industry, Lauren knows that hosting these types of events is also crucial to the growth and development of important community connections that can make a small business/home-based business successful.

“To meet the challenges of a lack of space to host mixers and training sessions, Park Place is not only a beautiful facility, equipped with all the amenities to help your event run smoothly it is above all affordable”, said Thibodeau. “Our rooms can accommodate 20 - 200 guests depending on the event and the seating.  We have a full service kitchen for your caterer of choice to use or you may choose to have box lunches delivered. Also available to you are a microphone, podium, screen, projector and sound system. Our banquet room comes equipped with a stage.”

Park Place hosted its own Chamber Mixer last October with well over 120 attendees. Whether you want to host a training session for employees, or host your very own Chamber Mixer, our staff will be there to offer you assistance from the start to finish of the event. Our goal is to help you and your business grow.
